Welcome to the Mathematical Biology Research Training Group (RTG) at NC State.
News: Our fourth workshop on Parameter Estimation for Mechanistic Biological Models will run July 29-August 1st, 2019. Workshop homepage
Our interests are centered on mathematical modeling of biological systems and issues surrounding the confrontation of these models with real-world data. Mathematical and statistical questions of particular interest include parameter estimation, uncertainty quantification and experimental design. Biological systems of interest range from physiology through population biology.
We have opportunities for support at the undergraduate and graduate levels. See our Open Positions page for more information.
